This 6-day safari begins in Tarangire, famous for its mighty elephant herds, baobab-studded landscapes, and abundant wildlife. Journey next to the Serengeti’s Western Corridor in Grumeti, where the Great Migration herds face the thrilling challenge of river crossings, creating unforgettable moments of predator-prey drama. Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, a breath-taking natural amphitheatre teeming with diverse animals, including the rare black rhino. Conclude with Lake Manyara, known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush scenery.

DAY 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport

After arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro / Arusha), your private driver guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park, in northern Tanzania, is celebrated for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and remarkable biodiversity. The park’s lifeline, the Tarangire River, attracts large concentrations of wildlife, particularly during the dry season, offering exceptional game viewing opportunities. Visitors can encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an impressive array of over 500 bird species. Its scenic beauty and rich wildlife make Tarangire a must-visit safari destination year-round.

After having Lunch at a picnic site and an extensive game drive, we head straight to your accommodation in Mto wa mbu, arriving late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 - 4: Mto wa Mbu to Western Serengeti National Park

Depart from your accommodation in Mto wa mbu and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views along the way, as you head toward the Western Serengeti. This region, known as the Grumeti, is the stage for the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra plunge into crocodile-filled waters in their quest for fresh grazing.

 

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your game drive across the vast plains. Spend two nights in the western corridor at a tented camp or lodge, where you can relax after adventurous days, savor delicious meals, and fall asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness.

DAY 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing drive.

Undoubtedly, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment.

There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! Undeniably, it is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros. Furthermore, the park is home to the entirety of The Big Five. It is particularly good place to see lions, herds of wildebeest, zebras and cape buffalo year-round.

A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to your accommodation in Mto wa mbu, arriving late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment in northern Tanzania, is known for its stunning scenery and diverse habitats, from lush groundwater forests to expansive alkaline lake shores. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and flocks of flamingos, the park also shelters giraffes, hippos, zebras, and over 400 bird species.

 

After lunch at a designated picnic site, we finalize our game drive and head back to Arusha city either at your accommodation if you wish to stay longer or at the airport to catch your flight to your next destination
