Serengeti

Found in the Northern part of Tanzania, seven hours drive away from Arusha Town, is a world heritage site with countless wildlife from mammals, birds, and others. Covers approximately 15,000 square kilometers in size. One of the true natural wonders on planet Earth and Undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. The word Serengeti was derived from the Maasai word “Siringet” which means open-endless plain. It is well known for the largest wildlife (ungulates) migration on the earth, with over 1.5 million blue wildebeests, and 250,000 zebras. It is the cradle of human life, Human ancestors lived in the area for almost 4 million years, and still is the home of several indigenous tribes.
