This 3-day package offers a more relaxed and immersive experience around Ol Doinyo Lengai, combining the summit climb with extended exploration of Lake Natron and authentic Maasai cultural interactions.

It is ideal for travelers who want more than just the climb, with time to recover, explore, and experience local life.

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Natron – Cultural Visit

Driving Time: 6–8 hours

Depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Lake Natron via the Rift Valley escarpment.

Arrive in the afternoon and check in at your camp. After lunch, visit a local Maasai village to learn about traditional lifestyle, customs, and culture.

Enjoy sunset views near the lake before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Summit Climb – Rest & Waterfalls

At midnight, begin your climb of Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Reach the summit at sunrise and enjoy spectacular views of Lake Natron and the surrounding Rift Valley.

Descend back to camp for breakfast and a well-deserved rest.

In the afternoon, take a guided walk to Ngare Sero Waterfalls, where you can swim and relax after the challenging climb.

Day 3: Lake Natron – Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning with optional flamingo viewing along the shores of Lake Natron.
